The SAT® test is the American Psychometric test. It is required for first degrees in the USA, Europe and other countries worldwide, including Israel.

Test Description

The SAT® is designed to test knowledge in mathematics and in verbal, as well as writing skills. The sections include:

  •  Quantitative/Mathematics section: arithmetic, algebra and geometry. (Calculators are permitted).
  • Verbal/Critical reading section : reading comprehension passages and questions, analogy questions, and sentence completion questions.
  • Writing: grammar problems and essay writing.  
  • Scores are in the range of 200-800 for each section (600-2400 in the total score).
  • Each SAT edition also contains one section which is used to try out new types of questions for future use. This section is not included in the score you get on the test.
  • The total testing time is 3 hours 45 minutes.

The SAT® is given 6 times a year outside the US: October, November, December, January, May and June.  

Registration can be done through the SAT® official website, or by filling in the registration forms, which you can find in our Tel Aviv office.
