Thank again for everything!! Dear Leanna, Dear Israel, I just wanted to let u know that I took the GMAT (I needed only the quatitative part) and the result I got is... 48!!!! And I was admitted to the program I applied for: the Global MBA at the IDC, Herzliya! I would like to thank you for your help, and I will make sure to recommend GMAX to every one that needs to study for the GMAT! I loved Israel's lessons, and I think the materials as well as the method in general was an excellent preparation for the actual exam. And, Leanna, to answer your question about the different test, I have found the 800 scores the most difficult... but the actually best preparation, in my opinion, was the Manatthan test as it was very close to the actual exam, even though a little more difficult... Thank again for everything!! All the best, Emilie Course: D201 |

Testimonial - GMAXOnline - Akshat Nayyar
"...I used this website to find out the best study sources and shortlisted to MGMAT and GMAXonline. i bought MGMAT sentence correction guide to start but was too lazy to start reading. Then i decided to purchase GMAXonline and it really made GMAT interesting [because] i could watch the online lectures while sitting in a bathtub or even while cooking. The key to a good score in GMAT is to study everyday, but after a hard day of work sometimes its really hard to get back to books. the lecture definitely made studying more lively and gave me the extra push that i needed to cross the 700 mark. I ended up with a 730 score and a lot of credit for that goes to GMAXonline. Since i was on a tight budget when i started my prep, i didn't feel like spending $400 for the course, so i ended up dividing the number of views between me and my friend. Since GMAX gives u 90 views for 30 lectures, we both managed to watch every lecture and a repeat of the topics we found a little tough. Overall, a 5 star rating from me to GMAXonline...." |

Thank you for GMAT course Hello Leanna!
Today I had my GMAT and I've got 620! This is more than enough for the MBA in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I had only a month to prepare for the GMAT and I couldn't do it without you! The course helped me a lot to understand the theory and how to approach the GMAT questions. Indeed, this score was a big surprise for me. Now I can't express how happy I am! Thank you for all your advices. At the end of Quantitative section the questions were very easy and I thought that my score will be low. But I remembered what you said - don't panic! And so I just answered patiently all the questions. I needed a miracle to pass this test in such a short period of time. And the on-line course GMAX was a part of my miracle. AGAIN, THANK YOU! |

TOEFL course testimonial
My name is Michal and I participated in a TOEFL course given by GMAX.
During the course we solved tests and practiced work under conditions of time pressure. I found the experience and the tutor to be very helpful and I was very pleased with the results: I scored 108 in the exam and thus was able to get accepted to UCLA, my dream university.

Hey everyone,
I was a GMAX student, and its GMAT got me to the school that I wanted, as a first fact.
I made a market research prior to applying to GMAX, and found it prices very convenient, also the service, and the location. Alona made her sales pitch on me and it worked, even though I am a sales person for years. The school has provided me with everything that it stood for: one on one lessons with the school director, personal assistance, guidance before/through/after the course. I needed someone to tell me what and when I should do, in classes they were Sarai and Israel, back in the office, David and Alona have guided me through. Personal attention, small details, guidance, any possible study material, they all were given to me by the school personnel and Leanna especially. Thanks guys, you made it worthy!
Best Regards,
Iliya Talman

Gmat course
Dear GMAX,
As promised, I wanted to share my GMAT/GMAX experience with you:
Bottom line: I got 710 (Q51, V34) 5 AWA which is a little disappointing but OK. I considered retaking it, but probably only in few months.
GMAX:
- Most work was about SC and I think this part went well. (good job Sarai and Yael).
- The math classes were OK, but sometimes unnecessary but I had a strong quantities background so you probably can ignore that.
- The verbal tutorials were very effective. You should present it as a "must" next time.
- I did not go to the math tutorials, so I don’t really know
- The AWA feedbacks were great.
- I really appreciate the personal attention by all the staff I've met (Leanna, David, Yisrael, Yael and Sarai). All my questions were answered quickly and effectively (and I bothered Yael and Sarai quite a lot…J)
- Math practices: The binder is ok, but the OG/QR math are practically useless. I got the right answers in 10 seconds (I am not kidding) in 95% of the questions. Maybe some students find them effective for the first part of the course, but I recommend that you at least tell the students they are not representative: I was very confident until I took the first two simulations and got 47/49. that made me restudy for the math part all over again for a 2-3 days. Had I known that, I would have prepared my schedule differently.
Thanks,
Shay

testimonial-gmat online course
Hello everybody!
Here's my case. I've scored 760 (Q49, V44) on the GMAT on Jun.28 2009 and I'm just going to explain what it took me to succeed. But first, a little background information since in my case it may be relevant. I live in Russia in a remote area where generally people have no idea of what MBA is, let alone the GMAT. The point is that in the process of preparation I was doing it all by myself. I mean almost all of you guys are living in an environment where there's a lot of other people doing the same thing (preparing for the GMAT) and you always have the opportunity to discuss the problems you encounter, which wasn't my case.
What did I do to prepare myself for the test.
I've purchased complete online course from the GMAX Online for $399, which is a reasonable price compared to actual physical courses out there. I also bought the OG10 because it wasn't included but was most frequently used during the course. The course itself covers all of the aspects of both verbal and quantitative sections. It consists of a total of 31 lessons with a duration of 2hrs in average. After each of those lessons you have to do a homework which is specifically relevant to the topic of each particular lesson. On average it took me another 2hrs to do a homework. During the course I took three simulation tests, which were included in the package, and upon completion of the course I took another two tests provided by Pearson VUE, creators of the GMAT (available on mba.com for free). Overall it took me two months for preparation. The GMAX course was comprehensive enough, so that no single question on the actual test took me by surprise. I also have managed not to sacrifice any question because of timing and I felt myself confident all through the test. To make things clear, the GMAX course can't do magic by itself. I still had to work very hard in the course of preparation. But, like I said before, it covers everything and once you've done everything you're asked to - boom - you're ready for the test. Another good thing about taking such kind of online courses is that you can actually save time and patience by skipping some parts of lessons, which contain the information you're familiar with. My major was in engineering so for me a lot of math was piece of cake and I just skipped it. By contrast, when I was taking the TOEFL classes at Kaplan in East Village NY, I was spending 60% of the time in the class listening teacher explaining obvious things to some other student. It was really boring and unproductive although besides of that I'm not saying anything negative about studying at Kaplan. To sum up, for those able and willing to work hard the GMAX Online course may be the ultimate tool for getting a good grade at the GMAT.

testimonial-gmat full course-Moti Gal
I did the full course (Math and verbal) and thanks to you and your team got a 640 grade. I was accepted to IDC Hezliya (hamerkaz habein tchumy) global MBA program (everything is taught in English) and not only that I even got a scholarship that covers 20% of the tuition fee (that's real money if you know IDC fees). Yesterday I successfully finished the one preparatorty course (economics) I had to take before the studies' start. I thought it would be a good opportunity to thank everyone in GMAX: Diana, David, Yisrael, Sarai, yourself and if I missed anyone (it's just me going senile) - please send them my thanks. I must say GMAT was difficult for me and I can't say I was an expert in the verbal part. Nevertheless, I wouldn't have made it without GMAX. Everyone was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The materials were helpful and all in all I believe GMAX program is the best in the market. I would certainly spread the word about you. Shana Tova Moti Gal former Class D-182 student |

Hi Leanna,
I wanted to say thanks for all the help. I got a 47. Doing tests from different kinds & companies was very efficient and important. Every different kind of test gave me something, as well as the many exercises that were included in the disc.
The tutorial sessions with Omer were helpful as well, and I was able to deal with different topics and concepts.
So thank a lot, and I'd be happy to answer any questions regarding the test that I took today.
Shabat Shalom

I took the GMAT exam 2 weeks ago and got a score of 720
51M, 36V
and 5.0 on the essays.
I would like to recommend the GMAX prep course for the GMAT exam:
- the classes are small and intimate
- the teachers are very warm hearted and helpful
- before beginning the course I was a bit discouraged by the fact that the classes are held in English (since I'm not a native English speaker), but soon I learned that this is a very effective method to get you into the "mood" of the exam. In addition, the teachers were very clear and explained in Hebrew whenever was necessary (almost never).
Thank you Gmax,
Yoni.

Lilach Givaty
Hi,
I wanted to thank GMAX for a great course. I contemplated a number of courses and eventually decided to study with GMAX.
The main reasons for my decision was that the GMAX Course is held in English rather than in Hebrew like in other places but I soon discovered other reasons to recommend GMAX. During the course I always felt that there was someone professional to ask questions, I was given a lot of personal attention without which I would not have been able to achieve the same level of success in the GMAT exam. Any question I had was answered immediately by phone or email, the GMAX staff was always available.
Thank you again,
Lilach Givaty

Thank You GMAX
I was glad to take the Gmat course that GMAX has to offer. I had heard about GMAX from a PhD student in WHARTON (one of the top business schools in the world).
He was pleased with the course he had taken at GMAX and recommended it strongly. After I finished the course at GMAX I realized just how much he was right.
The course was very comprehensive and professional. It included massive amount of teaching hours as well as practice hours. The price was fair considering the amount of hours that the course consisted of. The GMAX staff was kind and provided excellent service. Great thanks to – Leanna, Israel, Sarai, orit, Diana, Alona, Sagit and the rest of the GMAX staff. I would be more than happy to recommend GMAX to whoever asks.

Ben Bulmash
I took the 15/05/08 GMAT exam, on which I got a score of 700:
Quantitative score: 50
Verbal score: 34
Writing score: 4
The total score I got was similar to the highest score I had gotten at each practice exam. The writing score was also the highest of those I've sent to the office to check. The notes replied were very helpful all along.
The verbal part was at the same level as practiced on the practice exams; on these exams I got a score of 26-32. The teacher was very helpful all along the course, including the tutorials and I owe most of my verbal improvement to her guiding. I recommend my friends of this course mostly because of her performance.
The general staff all along was fantastic and did its best to help me on any occasion.
I'll be glad to advice anyone of this course.
This course was challenging and exciting as a whole and I would recommend anyone to take it.
Yours,
Ben Bulmash

Dear Leanna,
Last Thursday I took my GMAT test and I got a 700 score. I would like to say that I owe this grade to GMAX course and to your professional guidance. Thanks a lot for all the time you invested answering my questions and providing valuable tips. The practice material that was provided to us during the GMAX course allowed me to improve significantly my math and verbal skills.
I would also like to thank my grammar teacher Sarai and my math teacher Israel, for teaching me everything I need to know in order to succeed in GMAT.
Best regards,

I strongly recommend taking the GMAX course for several reasons:
The classes are held in English, which helps getting into the mindset of the test relatively easy.
The teachers in the school are professionals, and they put an emphasis on learning the language itself, and not just on solving questions technically!
But above all - the level of involvement, care and support of the teachers and the school staff is simply remarkable!!
Other than that, you have to really study, and a lot…

Yonatan Bosi - AMIR test
I had a good level of English, but I failed to pass the AMIR test three times.
I signed up for a program of 5 lessons with Liora in GMAX. In these lessons I enjoyed focused guidance, aimed mainly to improve my self confidence, and I learnt how to organize my time properly.
The teacher herself was charming and professional, and understood what I really needed to work on.
It was thanks to her that I finally passed the test!

A course in English is the way they do it at GMAX, and it’s the right way to do it!
Here are some words from someone who took the GMAT course in GMAX:
The fact that the course is held in English, with terms you will need in order to solve problems in math, geometry, and statistics, forces you to deal with the difficulties in the GMAT test from day 1. After you’ve heard and used words such as perpendicular (such a long word for such a simple term) a few times every lesson, there is no way you would come across it in the real test and not know or remember what it means.
In addition to the teachers’ hard work, the amount of material you will cover and the various analyzing methods you will learn, this learning requires a lot of discipline and diligence throughout the course and up until you take the real test. Studying at the last moment will not help you here! The material is NOT easy, and the approach you will learn to apply in the course is very different from what you are probably used to.
I wish everyone good luck, and enjoy this course! Use the knowledge of the teachers and their will to help.

There might not seem to be a big difference between the various GMAT prep schools. The material is the same, and the difficulty is also the same. There are no shortcuts in studying for this test!
However, GMAX certainly differs from other schools in at least one thing: The atmosphere.
In GMAX you feel that the teachers, the directors, and even the secretary, really care about your success and giving you all the help you might need.
I strongly recommend GMAX if you consider a GMAT prep course.
On a more personal note, I would like to say a warm thank you to Leanna and Sarai, for putting in the time and the effort for me.
Thank you,

To Leanna and the whole GMAX staff
Thank you very much for the 720!
It is all thanks to you, plus the hard work. Your attention to details and the personal treatment made all the difference.
The high score cleared my way towards the best program in the world (for me). There’s no doubt that a high GMAT score makes everything easier.

The GMAT exam is an American exam aimed at Americans applying for admission to American schools. It is therefore only natural for me that in order to compete with my American counterparts, I looked for American tutoring. This is precisely what I found at GMAX.
The GMAX course was planned and is taught by Americans in English, forcing the students to learn not only the specific material of the course, but also the exam writers' way of thought. The students were expected to adapt to an American "way of thinking" for the duration of the course, right up to the exam.
In addition, the small, almost intimate, groups allowed for nearly personal tutoring, and personal help was offered to students whenever a problem was recognized, so that the rest of the class did not suffer.
I added 150 points from the diagnostic test to the actual GMAT I took only two months later. For anyone aiming at a high GMAT score, GMAX is the only way to go!"

The GMAT course I took at GMAX was top-rate!
I improved my score from 560 to 700 and learned how to write to an essay as well. The courses are given in English. The books used in the courses are professional American test preparation books. This allows an Israeli student to compete with anyone in the world.
The courses are hard: A great deal of material must be learned, but for anyone interested in applying to the top graduate schools, there is no other realistic choice but GMAX. "
